ULTRA FILTRATION PLANT

About Ultra Filtration Plant

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane filtration process in which pressure or concentration gradients separate substances through a semipermeable membrane. Suspended solids and high molecular weight solutes are retained, while water and low molecular weight solutes pass through as permeate.

UF is widely used in industrial and research applications for purifying and concentrating macromolecular solutions such as proteins. It is closely related to microfiltration but differs in membrane pore size and molecular weight cut-off (MWCO).

Ultrafiltration systems operate in either cross-flow or dead-end mode, providing efficient and reliable separation for diverse water treatment needs.
